Cedar Creek Shooting Range in Putnam County:

Cedar Creek Shooting Range

The Cedar Creek Shooting Range is located on Cedar Creek Wildlife Management Area in Putnam County. This range is made possible by a partnership with the USDA Forest Service and the Wildlife Resources Division. From Monticello: Take Highway 212 southeast for 12.6 miles to Bradley Road.

Chatuge Gun Club in Hiawassee, GA

Meetings are held 4 times a year, on the third Tuesday of the month,January, April (Annual Meeting), July and October.Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the Towns County Civic Center,67 Lakeview Circle (upper level), next to the Library in Hiawassee. Google Map Our next meeting will be October 15, 2019.

Chestnut Mountain Shooting Range

The Chestnut Mountain Shooting Range is located on John’s Mountain Wildlife Management Area in Whitfield County. From I-75: take exit 320 (Lafayette, Resaca exit). Turn left on Highway 136 and go approximately 5 miles, turn right where the 136 connector runs into Highway 136. Go approximately 0.26 miles and range is on the right.

The Darnell Shooting Range is a very basic range with few developed facilities. There are 2 shooting benches but you must supply your own target structures on which to post your targets. The maximum target distance is 100 yards. No other distances are marked.

Sumac Shooting Range

The Sumac Shooting Range is located on Cohutta Wildlife Management Area in Murray County. From Eton: Take Highway 411 N. Turn right on Highway 2. Go to the end of the pavement and pass Cohutta WMA entrance sign on the right. Continue to the top of the hill and the range entrance road will be on the right.
