|Outing Description: Here’s your chance to learn about how Georgia ForestWatch works and our current challenges… along with your opportunities to help. Bring your sack lunch, or buy at the Garden cafe. Past Board President, Sue Harmon, will give an introduction to ForestWatch, but mostly we want to answer your questions. Bring along friends, spread the word. Lunch and learn will end at 12:30, then we’ll take a leisurely hike for an hour. Come for any or all.|
Meeting Place Directions:State Botanical Garden visitor center conservatory in front of the cafe. 2450 S. Milledge Ave, Athens. Take the Milledge Ave exit off the loop, go south 1 mile, entrance on right

What to Bring and Wear: Lunch
Cancellation: Lunch and learn will occur despite inclement weather. We’ll decide after lunch whether to cancel the hike due to weather.
