Join us for the annual Georgia ForestWatch Fall Retreat and Membership Meeting at Vogel State Park on October 12, 2019!

Come just for the day, or stay over Friday and Saturday nights.

Friday:
Potluck Dinner: Come late Friday afternoon with your favorite dish to share for dinner.We’ll have a cooler and ice available for chilling beer and wine, but BYOB. Tea and water provided.

Saturday:
8:30 am Check-in and coffee, light breakfast
10:00 am Program: Learn about how to make a difference for our forests. Hear stories from a panel of advocacy experts about protecting Georgia’s natural wonders, get the details on the Forest Service’s requirements for listening to the public, and watch a demonstration of putting everything into action.
12:30 pm Crock-pot lunch: See and taste what folks have cooked up in their slow cookers!
2:00 pm Hikes: sign up on-site for your favorite hike or stroll; limit of 25 participants per hike.
5:00 pm Annual Georgia ForestWatch Membership Meeting
6:30 pm Barbecue dinner with all the trimmings, including beer and wine. Bring only your appetite! Campfire and music, weather permitting

Sunday:
8:30 am to 10 am Coffee and light breakfast available. Relax and enjoy the park

Cost: $35/person or $50/couple; $20/student. Children 12 and under are FREE! Registration includes all programming and meals, with vegetarian and vegan options provided.
