Georgia Forestwatch is seeking to save some Biltmore Ash trees in Georgia’s National Forest and your contribution will help:

1. Purchase the treatments that will save the trees from the invasive Emerald Ash Borer
2. Pay for a Licensed Pesticide Applicator to be present during treatments
3. Help organize and train volunteers to participate!

TIMELINE:
July 08, 2019 – Jess Riddle identified treatment locations of Biltmore Ash
July 26, 2019 – Approval from Forest Service to treat 
August 30, 2019 – Partnered with Save Georgia’s Hemlocks and USFS to have a group of ForestWatch Volunteers treat 45 Ash trees at two sites.
September 2019 – Chemical costs were higher than expected and we need your help in raising the remaining $600 to continue this annual effort!
